Peter Bjorn And John is a Swedish indie pop band from Stockholm, consisting of Peter Morén, Björn Yttling and John Eriksson.
Formed in 1999, the band released their debut EP, ‘Forbidden Chords’ in 2001, which they followed with their debut self-titled album, the following year. They released a second album, ‘Falling Out’, in 2004, but it wasn’t until their third album, ‘Writer's Block’, in 2006, that they achieved international fame, with the single Young Folks, which was a top 20 hit in the UK Singles Chart. The album ‘Seaside Rock’, was a largely instrumental album that was released in 2008, and ‘Living Thing’ came out in 2009. Their latest album, ‘Gimme Some’ was released in 2011. The band are set to release their latest album, ‘Breakin’ Point’, on June 10, 2016. The band have headlined their own tours and shows across Europe and the USA, as well as having supported Depeche Mode and appeared at festivals such as Lollapalooza. Peter Bjorn And John released their next album, 'Darker Days', in October 2018. They tour the UK, Ireland and Europe 2019 after a December 2018 tour of the US.
