Phil Campbell is a rock musician born in Pontypridd.

Best known as Motörhead’s longest-serving guitarist, he remained part of the band until their split, following the death of the iconic founder and frontman Lemmy.

Today, he tours with his own band, The Bastard Sons, which currently features his three sons and vocalist Joel Peters of Bootyard Bandits. They released their debut album 'The Age of Absurdity' in 2018, followed by 'We're The Bastards' in 2020. Their third LP, 'Kings Of The Asylum', is set to arrive in September 2023.

As well as headlining their own shows, they have also bagged support slots for the likes of Guns N' Roses, Black Star Riders, Saxon and Airbourne.
