Plan B, real name Ben Drew, is a British MC, singer-songwriter, actor and director from London.
Starting his music career in 2005, he released his debut album, 'Who Needs Actions When You Got Words’, in 2006, which hit #30 in the UK Albums Chart and was followed by 2010's 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks', which hit the top spot. He then launched his acting career, with roles in 'Adulthood', 'Harry Brown', and '4.3.2.1', and made his directorial debut in 2011 with ‘Ill Manors’, releasing the soundtrack as a standalone album. 2017 saw the release of two singles, In The Name Of Man, and most recently Heartbeat, but he's since announced the release of his next album, ‘Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose’, due to drop on April 13 2018. Plan B is back with a run of intimate headline shows across the country in April and may of 2018, supporting the new album. Following these shows, he'll also play a handful of racecourse performances in June and July and a headline show at Leeds Millennium Square as part of the Summer Series.
