Portugal. The Band are an American experimental rock band from Wasilla, Alaska, featuring John Baldwin Gourley, Zachary Scott Carothers, Kyle O'Quin and Jason Sechrist.
Formed in 2004, the band released their debut album, ‘Waiter: “You Vultures!’ in 2006, and was followed by ‘Church Mouth’ the following year, and ‘Censored Colors’ the year after. 2009’s ‘The Satanic Satanist’ became their first record to chart in the Billboard 200, at #81. 2011’s ‘In the Mountain in the Cloud’ hit #42 and they returned in 2013 with their seventh record, ‘Evil Friends’, which reached #28 in the chart. The band released their new album, ‘Woodstock’, on June 16, 2017. Currently touring the US, the Portland rockers have confirmed a summer show in London, but also play shows in Australia and New Zealand too.
