Power Trip are an American crossover thrash metal band from Dallas, Texas.
Following the death of vocalist Riley Gale in 2020, the band now comprises singer Seth Gilmore, with Blake Ibanez and Nick Stewart on guitars, Chris Ulsh on drums, and Chris Whetzel on bass. The band released their debut album, ‘Manifest Decimation’ via Southern Lord Recordings in 2013, which they followed-up with 'Nightmare Logic' in 2017, to critical acclaim. They released 'Opening Fire: 2008-2014' in April 2018, a compilation record featuring early, never-before-heard songs. They also put out a live record titled 'Live in Seattle: 05.28.2018' in 2020. Power Trip have lined up US shows set to take place in July and August 2024. The dates will mark the band's first live performances since the passing of Gale.
