Queen are a British rock band from London, that featured Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May and Roger Taylor and now features Brian May and Roger Taylor, best known for hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Can’t Stop Me Now and Killer Queen, as well as the musical ‘We Will Rock You’.
Formed in 1970, the band released their debut self-titled album in 1973, but it was their second release, ‘Queen II’, in 1974, that gained them international popularity, reaching #5 in the UK Albums Chart. They continued their success with albums such as ‘A Night at the Opera’, released in 1975, which gave the band their first #1 in the UK chart, as well as the Flash Gordon soundtrack, which came out in 1980 and their final album ‘Made in Heaven’, that hit shelves in 1995, after Freddie Mercury’s death.
The band have continued as a live act, touring with Paul Rodgers between 2005 and 2008, and with Adam Lambert from 2012, which started after Brian May performed with the ‘American Idol’ contestant during the show.
Queen + Adam Lambert have completed three international tours and have headlined Isle of Wight Festival and iHeartRadio Music Festival. ‘Queen & Adam Lambert Rock Big Ben Live’ was a special performance, which was broadcast live on BBC One on New Year's Eve 2014.
Queen and Adam Lambert will play three London shows this summer and a huge show at Dublin's Marlay Park as part of their European tour. They're then set to headline TRNSMT Festival in July, too, before they head to Las Vegas for a residency at Park Theater. Queen and Adam Lambert Tickets Comments & Feedback
Saw Queen and Adam Lambert in Las Vegas in September, 2018. The show was just fantastic. Adam is Adam and I love his voice the way it is so don't compare him with Freddie. We can never have Freddie back.
It was a very thoughtful move to include Freddie in the show in one of Brian's performance and the bohemian rhapsody video so Freddie was not letting out. Brian and Roger still rock the whole show. They are just as good as ever. I would want to see them again. The only disappointment was they couldn't perform all the top Queen songs. I was surprised Adam sang couple Elvis songs instead of his own. I would be delighted to hear couple Adam's songs.
The most electrifying performance I have ever been to. We miss Freddie but Adam Lambert is a legend in his own right and they compliment each other perfectly. So much talent on a stage at once I can still feel the excitement now when I think about it and can't wait for a repeat performance, pleasepleaseplease,!!!
Saw the QAL tour twice in the US, and had to fly to London for both shows at the O2. This is rock and roll history being made, friends. Not sure how long this magnificent collaboration will last - so don't miss it. Make no mistake, I first saw Queen in the 1970s. You will be thoroughly ROCKED! Enjoy...
Watched Queen & Adam Lambert at the O2 & was blown away with the whole concert. Brian & Roger still have their energy & love for their music, & Adam, well WOW, he isn't Freddie & doesn't pretend to be but WOW, he brings something special to the performances he gives. Emotional when Freddie & John also make an appearance in their own personal way. It was great to see young & old enjoying & keeping the music alive
