Rat Boy, real name Jordan Cardy, is an English indie rock and rap singer-songwriter and musician from Chelmsford, Essex.
Starting his musical career in 2014, he released ‘The Mixtape’ on Soundcloud, which led to him signing with Parlophone in early 2015. He dropped the mixtape ‘Neighbourhood Watch’ in 2015 and his debut EP ‘Get Over It’ in 2016. He released his debut album, ‘SCUM’, in 2017. He put out a second LP, 'CIVIL DISORDER', out in January 2018, and his latest release came in the form of the 'Internationally Unknown' mixtape in 2019. He has headlined his own shows and tours across the UK and Europe and has played festivals such as Latitude, Bestival and Community. Rat Boy has rescheduled his spring UK tour to September 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
