Launched in 1996, the event operated under the names Holidays in the Sun and Wasted, before the Rebellion Festival we know today was born in 2007. In the past, it has played host to acts such as The Menzingers, Stiff Little Fingers, Peter Hook & The Light, Buzzcocks, Public Image Ltd, The Damned, Descendants, Rancid, Gogol Bordello, The Exploited, Cockney Rejects, The Undertones, UK Subs, The Stranglers and many more! Rebellion Festival will return to Blackpool in August 2026, with Die Toten Hosen, UK Subs, The Chameleons, Ruts DC and much more.
