Rebellion Festival is a punk/alternative music festival held annually in Blackpool's Winter Gardens. Started in 1996 as Holidays in the Sun, and later Wasted, Rebellion Festival was born in 2007, and has seen some of the biggest and best names feature on its bill, like Stiff Little Fingers, Peter Hook and the Light, Buzzcocks, The Damned, Descendants, Rancid, Public Image LTD, and more.
The Creepshow and Sham 69 played 2017's edition of the festival, also with appearances from Zero Boys, Dirtbox Disco, Sheer Terror, Last Resort, Fire Exit, Bollweevils, External Menace, Splodgenessabounds, Guitar Gangsters, Spunk Volcano & the Eruptions, Sidekick, Anger Flares and Anti Social.
Peter Hook & The Light have joined the line up for next year's Rebellion Festival, where The Joy Division and New Order legend will play a Best of Joy Division' set. Also on the bill are the Exploited, Cockney Rejects, Angelic Upstarts, Discharge, Ruts DC, UK Subs, Slaughter & the Dogs, D.R.I., the Adolescents, SNFU, Toxic Reasons and Raw Power, among others. Public Image Limited, aka PiL, have been announced as the Sunday headliners for this year's Rebellion Festival, while the Vandals and the Mezingers have also joined the bill.
