Reef are an English Britpop band from Glastonbury, consisting of Gary Stringer providing vocals, Kenwyn House on guitar, Jack Bessant playing the bass, and Dominic Greensmith behind the drums.
Formed in 1993, the band released their debut album, ‘Replenish’ in 1995, which hit #9 in the UK Albums Chart. ‘Glow’ was released in 1997, peaking the top spot and featuring the track, Place Your Hands, which reached #6 in the UK Singles Chart. ‘Getaway’ was released in 2000 and ‘Together’ in 2003. After a lengthy break, the band returned in 2010 with a run of gigs and festival appearances across the country. Having celebrated their 20th anniversary late in 2013, they returned to the tour bus for another series of live shows in March 2015. Their latest release saw a 'Live in St Ives' album in 2016.
