Richard 'Kid' Strange is an English writer, actor, musician, curator and founder and frontman of cult 1970s punk band Doctors Of Madness.
Doctors of Madness recorded three highly influential but non-commercial albums, and had been supported by the likes of The Sex Pistols, The Jam and Joy Division, before disbanding in 1978. He released his debut album as a solo artist, 'The Live Rise Of Richard Strange', in 1980, then putting out a further four records including his most recent, 2005's 'This Is War.'
