Ride are a shoegaze band from Oxford.
Formed in 1988, the band released their debut album, Nowhere, in 1990, putting out a further three studio records before their split in 1996. After an 18-year break, they announced their return in 2014, dropping new music in the shape of 'Weather Diaries' three years later. They have continued to go strong ever since, with a discography now totalling six full-length records, and a seventh due to arrive in March 2024 in the shape of 'Interplay'.
