Right Said Fred are a British pop band from East Grinstead, currently featuring Richard Fairbrass and Fred Fairbrass, who are best known the hit single, I’m Too Sexy.
Formed in 1989, the group released their debut single, I’m Too Sexy, which hit #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 in the UK Singles Chart. It was followed by the Top Ten singles, Don't Talk Just Kiss and Deeply Dippy, and their debut album, ‘Up’, which hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart. This led to the band signing to EMI and releasing their second album, ‘Sex and Travel’, in 1993, followed by ‘Smashing!’ in 1996 via Happy Valley Records, ‘Fredhead’ in 2001 via Sony BMG, ‘Stand Up’ in 2002 via Kingsize Records, ‘For Sale’ in 2006 via Ministry of Sound and ‘I'm a Celebrity’ in 2008 via Promark Music. The band released their last album, ‘Stop the World’, in 2011, via Luv Records. Right Said Fred are set to play London’s Heaven in May.
