Ryan Adams is an alt-rock singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Starting his music career in 1991, he initially gained popularity as the guitarist and songwriter for alt-country band Whiskeytown, launching his solo career when the band split in 2000.

He released his debut album, ‘Heartbreaker', in 2000, which was followed by his breakthrough release, ‘Gold’, in 2001. His discography now hosts a total of 29 studio albums, the latest being the fourth instalment of his 2024 tetralogy, 'Heatwave'.

Ryan Adams will celebrate the anniversary of 'Heartbreaker' with a tour of the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America in spring and summer 2025.
