Sam Fender is an indie rock musician hailing from Newcastle. Having grown up in a household of musicians, he picked up a guitar at the age of 10 and began writing songs by 13. After playing busking slots in small pubs for years, he eventually got noticed by the manager of Ben Howard, Owain Davies, who gave him a leg up into the business.
