Seasick Steve is an American blues, folk and country singer-songwriter from Oakland, California.
Having been touring and busking for years, with his own personalised guitars and other instruments, he made his breakthrough at the start of the millennium, releasing his debut album, ‘Cheap’, in 2004.
He has released eight albums across his career including, his breakthrough album, ‘I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most of It Left’, which hit #9 in the UK Albums Chart and ‘Man from Another Time’, released in 2009, which reached #4.
He released his latest album, ‘Keepin' the Horse Between Me and the Ground’ in October 2016, which charted at #8.
He has headlined his own shows and tours in the UK and Europe, including venues such as Royal Albert Hall, Edinburgh Queen's Hall, the Grand Opera House in Belfast, the Apollo in Manchester, and the London Hammersmith Apollo and has performed at festivals such as Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury.
