Seether are alternative metal band from Pretoria, South Africa, featuring frontman Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey.
Formed in 1999, under the name Saron Gas, the band released one album, before signing to Wind-up and switching to Seether for their second release, ‘Disclaimer’, in 2002. The band’s breakthrough album, ‘Karma and Effect’, came out in 2005, and reached #8 in the Billboard Hot 200.
