The Alban Arena is a live music and performance venue based at the Civic Centre in St Albans. First opened back in the '70s, it has remained one of the town's most popular destinations for entertainment, boasting a capacity of up to 1,200 standing fans. It hosts events ranging from pantomime to rock concerts - Dire Straits have taken to the stage over the years, while recent productions include The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan.
