Ward and actress Zooey Deschanel, the duo met on the set of the film The Go-Getter, and began writing music together after he heard her sing in the film Elf. They have released six studio albums to date, with the most recent being 'Christmas Party' in 2016. They received a Grammy nomination for their song So Long in 2012.
