Sleeper are an English Britpop band based in London. Formed in 1993, the group originally consisted of frontwoman Louise Wener, Jon Stewart, Diid Osman, and Andy Maclure, who were joined by Dan Kaufmann for the final couple of years.

One of the country's most popular Britpop acts, Sleeper released three albums before their split, going platinum with their second, 1996's 'The It Girl'. The group parted ways following a tour in support of their 1997 record, 'Please to Meet You'.

2007 saw the release of a 'Greatest Hits' album, and 2016 the arrival of 'Inbetweener: The Best Of Sleeper'.

After successful reunion shows in 2018, Sleeper announced their first album in 23 years in 2019, 'The Modern Age'. They followed it up with 'This Time Tomorrow' in 2020.

Sleeper have rescheduled their co-headline UK tour with the Bluetones to August 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with their Brighton show set to follow in September. They will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album 'Smart' by playing it in full plus a greatest hits set.
