In September 2008, Ryan Louis Griggs and Josh Green formed the group Twelve24 under the organisation The Message Trust, a Christian charity in Manchester, U.K. The mission was to go into High Schools around Manchester to talk about issues of faith, respect, anti-bullying and other subjects affecting young people.
Rebranding as the Christian pop group Social Beingz in 2018, Ryan and Josh continue to spread the message. Under their new name, they have released a full-length effort titled 'Social Media', which dropped in 2019. They have also toured extensively across the UK. Social Beingz were due to tour the UK throughout summer 2020 as part of Utilita’s Live From The Drive-In concert series, but the whole series has been cancelled by promoters due to fears over potential localised lockdowns in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
