Soweto Kinch is an award winning alto-saxophonist and MC in British hip hop and jazz.
He has received a Mercury Music Prize nomination, two UMA Awards and a MOBO for best Jazz Act in 2003. In October 2007, he won his second MOBO Award, at the O2 Arena, London where he was announced as the winner in the Best Jazz Act category. His debut album, 'The War in a Rack' was released in 2009, followed by 'The New Emancipation', the double album 'The Legend of Mike Smith', and his latest release, 2016's 'Nonogram'.
