Spiral Stairs, also known as Scott Kannberg, is best known for being the guitarist in indie rock band Pavement, as well as writing songs for them. He then formed the band Preston School of Industry in 1998, who released a handful of successful records.
Kannberg released his first album as Spiral Stairs, 'The Real Feel', in 2009, followed in 2017 with 'Doris and The Daggers'. After a single Exiled Tonight, which featured the National's Matt Berninger, Spairal Stairs released his latest album, 'We Wanna Be Hyp-No-Tized' in March 2019.
