Status Quo are an English rock band from London. The touring line up currently consists of Francis Rossi, Andrew Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards, Leon Cave and Richie Malone. The band have accumulated total worldwide record sales exceeding 118 million units, with 29 of their 39 albums making the UK Top 20. They've spent a total 200 weeks in the UK Singles Chart with hits like Caroline, Down Down, Rockin’ All Over The World, Whatever You Want, Marguerita Time and In the Army Now.
Formed in 1962, the band have released 32 albums across their career, including their debut, ‘Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo’ in 1968, ‘Rockin' All Over the World’, whose title track hit #3 in UK Singles Chart and their latest release, ‘Aquostic II: That's a Fact!’, which came out in 2016 via Fourth Chord Records. Guitarist and vocalist Rick Parfitt passed away in late 2016.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, such as their Final Frantic Four Tour in 2013, featuring all four Quo legends, Rossi, Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan. They also played their first ever acoustic show at London's Roundhouse in October 2014, which tied in with the release of the band's stripped-back album, 'Aquostic', followed by the Aquostic Live tour in 2015.
Status Quo are set to play acoustic shows this summer, including a date at London’s Royal Albert Hall. They also head to Australia for the Last Night of The Electrics Tour in October and return to the UK for more Aquostic Live shows in late 2017. I have adored Status Quo since I was a teenager. My dream came true to meet Quo face to face, the concert in our new Leeds arena was electric. My favourite part is when they come on stage and 'caroline' powerful and drives the crowd wild. Living on a island is my ultimate favourite. They're 1st gig at the new arena and no 'bums' on seats. I met Rick Parfit and had my picture taken with him. 10cc were fronting and a double bonus for fans.
Took me longer to get out of the carpark but still excellent show

Great to see the Quo rocking again. I first saw them back in the 1970's and things have changed a bit since then... Superb atmosphere at their shows though and they played a lot of the classics. I was a bit disappointed that they were only on stage for just under 90mins. Thats not long enough! The Quo usually always manage 2 hours! It took me longer to exit the car park after the show!
A full house created a great atmosphere for Quo, everyone was rocking. 35 years since I last saw them and they are as brilliant now as they were back then. They mostly played their greatest hits, which kept the audience happy, I wouldve personally liked to have heard a few lesser known tunes. The band are brilliant musicians, each of them proving that you can still leap about on stage when 70 is looming! The energy and quality of their act is second to none. Great fun, a super venue, excellent value for money. Get ya denim and air guitar out!
