Stephen Lynch is an american comedy musician from Michigan. He began his career writing songs part time after college in NYC and playing small bars and clubs, gaining favourable reactions.

Eventually he was approached by a local radio station for some exposure, and then by Comedy Central who offered him a half-hour special. His shows became one of the highest rated for the channel, and it sparked Lynch to be able to headline his own shows across the country, and make his debut album, 'A Little Bit Special' in 2000.

He followed this up with 'Superhero' in 2003, 'The Craig Machine' in 2005, '3 Balloons' in 2009, and 'Lion' in 2012.

During his career, Lynch has toured with the likes of Lewis Black and Mitch Hedberg, and even played the title role in the Broadway production of The Wedding Singer, for which he received a Tony Nomination, a Drama League nomination and a Drama Desk nomination.
