Steps are a British pop band from London, featuring Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian "H" Watkins and Lee Latchford-Evans.
Formed in 1997, the band released their debut album, ‘Step One’, in 1998, which hit #2 in the UK Chart and featured tracks such as 5, 6, 7, 8 and Better Best Forgotten. The band’s second release, ‘Steptacular’, came out in 1999, and hit the top spot in the chart. Tracks such as Tragedy, Love's Got a Hold on My Heart and Deeper Shade of Blue all reached the Top 5 in the UK Albums Chart. The band released a final album, ‘Buzz’, in 2000, before splitting in 2001.
They reformed in 2011, following a Sky Living show documenting their break-up, the aftermath, and their reunion and led to the release of their fourth album, ‘Light Up the World’, in 2012. The band released their fifth record, ‘Tears on the Dancefloor’, on April 21, 2017. They'll then celebrate their 20 year anniversary with a UK and Ireland arena tour in winter.
Steps to play summer shows in London and Scarborough, then are set to headline Kew The Music Festival in July alongside Boyzone, Jools Holland, The Human League, and Gypsy Kings.
In addition, they've now plotted the Grandslam 2018 Summer Of Steps Tour - with support from Aqua and Blue - as well as an appearance at Lytham Green. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
