Straight Arrows are a psychedelic garage punk band from Sydney, Australia. They formed in 2007 when front man Owen Penglis started recording material on a four track recorder, after being thrown out of various other bands!
Joined by Angela Garrick, Alex Grigg and Adam Williams, the band released their first single Can't Count on their own label Juvenile Records the same year. A split single with French garage punks the Creteens appeared the following year, while live dates kept the band busy until they released their debut album, 'It's Happening', in 2010. They went on to share 'Rising' in 2014, and 'On Top!' in 2018, and have headline shows across Australia, the US and the UK, as well as supporting the likes of Thee Oh Sees, Parquet Courts, the Black Lips, Straight Arrows hit up Newcastle, Leeds and Glasgow in April 2019.
