Sun Kil Moon is the folk rock project of Mark Kozelek. Hailing from from San Francisco, California, the project is the follow-on from the defunct indie rock band Red House Painters and has since evolved into the solo moniker of frontman Mark Kozelek.
Sun Kil Moon’s debut LP, ‘Ghosts of the Great Highway’, hit shelves in 2003, followed by ‘Tiny Cities’ in 2005. He has since followed up with a further nine releases, with the most recent being 2019's 'I Also Want To Die in New Orleans'.
