SWMRS are an American punk rock band from Oakland, California, consisting of Cole Becker, Max Becker, Joseph Armstrong and Sebastian Mueller.
Formed in 2004, under the name Emily's Army, the band released their debut album, ‘Don't Be a Dick’, in 2011, via Adeline Records, which was produced by Billie Joe Armstrong. They followed with their second album,‘Lost at Seventeen’, in 2013. The band’s first album under the name SWMRS, ‘Drive North’, was released in February 2016, through the band’s own Uncool Records, and produced by FIDLAR frontman Zac Carper. The band have toured with Wavves, Twin Peaks and The Frights, as well as having undertaken the Warped Tour in 2012 and 2013, and have performed at festivals such as Soundwave, Reading and Leeds, Bestival, the Great Escape and Green Day’s British Summer Time Hyde Park concert. SWMRS have announced their second album, 'Berkeley's On Fire', for release in February 2019, and a supporting UK/European tour in February/March.
