Sŵn is a city festival specialising in new music, taking place at various venues on and around Womanby Street in Cardiff, Wales.
Launched in 2007 by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens and John Rostron, it was the winner of the NME Best Small Festival Award in 2014. The festival has seen performances from the likes of The Vaccines, Marina & The Diamonds, The Cribs, English Teacher, BC Camplight, Gwenno, Adwaith, The Go! Team, Sweet Baboo, Dananananaykroyd, Johnny Foreigner, Sea Power, Los Campesinos, The Twilight Sad, Squid, Cate Le Bon, The Big Moon, Clean Cut Kid, She Drew The Gun, Getdown Services, The Skints, Pip Blom, Baby Dave, Billy Nomates, This Is The Kit, The Amazons, Peace and much more.
