Take That are an English pop group from Manchester, currently featuring Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, with both Jason Orange and Robbie Williams having departed the group. They have sold over 80 million albums, had 13 #1 LPs, 17 #1 singles, performed in front of millions of fans live, won 19 BRIT Awards, eight MTV awards and five Ivor Novello awards.
Formed in 1990, the group had a stream of Top Ten singles and albums, including the likes of Never Forget, Back For Good, Relight My Fire, Could It Be Magic and Babe, before they split in 1996. The group returned in 2005, with Barlow, Owen, Donald and Orange, with Williams joining them for the ‘Progress’ album and tour.
Progress Live saw Take That break all records for ticket sales, selling over 1.1 million tickets in a single day, and even crashing multi-national ticketing websites and telephone networks, as fans scrambled to get tickets to their shows, which were being held in stadiums across the UK and Europe. Progress Live remains one of the highest-grossing and best-attending live ventures the globe has ever seen. The band returned in summer 2016 for a headline show at Hyde Park in London.
Take That will celebrate their 30th anniversary with the massive Greatest Hits Live tour in 2019, with extra dates added due to spectacular demand. But before this, they'll perform at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust in March. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.
Take That was absolutely amazing, brilliant dancers and support act Ella Henderson staging was fantastic. It was my very 1st time seeing Take That in concert and was well worth the wait, really wished it had gone on for longer. Haven't stopped talking about what a fantastic night I had to all my family and friends!
