The Airborne Toxic Event are an American indie/alternative rock outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2006, the band consists of frontman Mikel Jollett, guitarist Steven Chen, bass-player Noah Harmon, drummer Daren Taylor, and multi-instrumentalist Anna Bulbrook, and they’ve managed to garner a fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic.
Their eponymous debut album came out in 2008, breaking into the Billboard 200 and hitting #35 in the UK. It’s 2011 follow-up ’All at Once’ faired even better, hitting #17 in the US - paving the way for their third record ’Such Hot Blood’.
