The Algorithm, is a musical project by French musician Rémi Gallego, that also consists Jean Ferry on drums, and combines electronic music, and progressive metal.
Formed in 2009, after the demise of Gallego’s former band Dying Breath, he would go on to sign a record deal with Basick Records in 2011, and release the debut album, ‘Polymorphic Code’ in 2012. The won Best Underground Artist of the Year at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2013, as well as touring Europe with the French Connection Tour. They released their second album, ‘Octopus4’ in 2014 and ‘Brute Force’ in March 2016. Electronica-metal experimentalists the Algorithm have announced UK and European dates for November, and plan to release new music in the near future.
