The Appleseed Cast are an American post-rock band from Lawrence, Kansas, currently consisting of Christopher Crisci on guitar and voice, bass player Nathan Whitman, guitarist Taylor Holenbeck, and Nathan Wilder on drums.
Formed in 1997, the band released their debut album,'The End of the Ring Wars', in 1998 via Deep Elm Records, followed by ‘Mare Vitalis’ in 2000. The following year they released a double album, ‘Low Level Owl: Volume I & II’, before signing with Tiger Style Records and releasing ‘Two Conversations’ in 2003. Signing with The Militia Group in 2005, the band released ‘Peregrine’ in 2006, with ‘Sagarmatha’ coming out in 2009. The band’s latest album was 2013’s ‘Illumination Ritual’ via Graveface Records.
