The Black Seeds are a reggae, dub, roots and funk band from Wellington, New Zealand. Formed in 1988, the group's first album 'Keep on Pushing', was released 2001 when they had already established themselves as a strong live act.
'On The Sun' came in 2004, 'Into the Dojo' came in 2006, 'Solid Ground' in 2008 and after a live album and an LP of remixes, came 2012's 'Dust And Dirt' and their latest, 'Fabric' in 2017. Their rocksteady-influenced song One By One became an international hit when it was played in the hit TV show Breaking Bad.
