The Burning Hell is a Canadian indie and folk rock outfit originally hailing from Peterborough, Ontario, now based in St. John's, Newfoundland. Formed in 2007, the band is the project of frontman and songwriter Mathias Kom, who is most commonly joined by bassist Nick Ferrio, clarinet and saxophone player Ariel Sharratt, guitarist Darren Browne, and drummer Jake Nicoll.
Though they’ve released six records over the years, The Burning Hell are best known for their energetic and hugely-entertaining live shows, which include lengthy tours - once, in 2012, the band played ten shows between Holland and Slovenia in the space of just 24 hours.
