The Charlatans are an alternative rock band from the West Midlands.

Formed in 1988, the band's 1990 debut LP, ‘Some Friendly’ became an instant hit and consequently paved the way for a further 12 successful albums. Their latest full-length studio effort came in the form of 2017's 'Different Days'. The compilation record 'A Head Full of Ideas: The Best of Charlatans' followed in 2021.

In the past, they have toured the UK and Europe extensively, and have appeared at festivals such as Glastonbury, and Reading and Leeds.
