The Coronas are an Irish indie rock band from Terenure, Dublin, consisting of frontman Danny O'Reilly, guitarist Dave McPhillips, bassist Graham Knox, and drummer Conor Egan.
Formed in 2003, the band released their debut album, ‘Heroes or Ghosts’ in 2007, followed by ‘Tony Was an Ex-Con’ in 2009 and ‘Closer to You’ in 2011, which saw them reach #3 in the Irish Albums Chart. This led to the band signing to Island Records for their fourth release, ‘The Long Way’, in 2014. The band released their latest album, ‘Trust The Wire’, on June 2, 2017, which they toured around the UK and Ireland in autumn, and they'll bring it to North America in early 2018, too.
Having performed some massive shows including sets at SXSW Festival and Oxegen, slots supporting the likes of The Script, Paul McCartney, and Justin Timberlake, and headlining big shows in Ireland, they’ve proved they can handle anything, live on stage as well as in the studio.
The Coronas are the latest act to be confirmed for a Live At The Marquee show in Cork this summer - with two shows lined up due to demand for tickets! They'll also play a headline show at Dublin's 3Arena later in July. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
