The Flaming Lips are a psychedelic rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The band formed in 1986, and have gone on to release a total of 23 studio albums including, most recently, 'When The Viaduct Looms' in 2021.

A critically acclaimed live act, they use videos, massive props, puppets, and effects to create one of the most elaborate live shows in the music scene. In the past, they have headlined Liverpool's Sound City, and have appeared at other festivals such as Boardmasters and Glastonbury.

The Flaming Lips will celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' with a tour of the UK, Ireland and Europe in spring 2025.
