Named after an Allen Ginsburg poem, The Howl and The Hum are a York based band who experiment with electronic textures, transatlantic rock sounds and classic songwriting structures. The band is made up of Sam Griffiths, Conor Hirons, Bradley Blackwell and Jack Williams.

Opening just over 10 years ago in 2003, Nottingham's Rescue Rooms has quickly become one of the city's favourite clubs and venues.
