The Jesus Lizard is an American rock band based in Austin, Texas. Formed back in 1987, the group consists of David Yow, David Wm. Sims, Duane Denison, and Mac McNeilly.
A pioneering and leading group in the noise rock genre, The Jesus Lizard would enjoy a busy '90s, despite not reaching the dizzy heights of their peers Nirvana, with whom they shared a split single with in 1993, before their split in 1999. Almost ten years later, The Jesus Lizard confirmed their return for a reunion tour, playing a number of shows and remastering all the records they'd released on Touch & Go. Though The Jesus Lizard's return was shortlived, they're now back for a second time, are set to play shows in the US in December 2017 - their first tour in eight years. Check below to find tickets!
