The Kite String Tangle is the solo project of alternative electronic artist and producer, Danny Harley, based in Brisbane, Australia.
His debut self-titled album was recorded over a three year period, seeing the bedroom producer moving to a recording studio for the first time. His single Given The Chance reached Gold status in Asutralia, and his tracks are now ubiquitous to the Australian landscape. The Kite String Tangle have headlined shows and tours across Australia, North America, the UK and Japan, and have payed festival slots at the likes of Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Groovin the Moo, SXSW, Coachella, CMJ and Taico Festival in Japan, as well as a co-headline tour with Dustin Tebbutt following their collaborative 'Illuminate' EP in 2015. Surrounding his upcoming festival appearances at the Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Primavera Sound and European dates, The Kite String Tangle will play headline shows in London and Glasgow this summer.
