The Magic Numbers are an English pop-rock and indie outfit hailing from Hanwell, London. Consisting of two brother/sister combos - Angela and Sean Gannon, and Michele and Romeo Stodart - the band was formed in 2002, though they began finding fame in the UK in 2004 after supporting the likes of Travis and Snow Patrol.
Their debut album ‘The Magic Numbers’ hit shelves in 2005, and peaked at #7, since becoming 2x platinum. This was followed-up by ‘Those the Brokes’ in 2007, which hit #11. Their third album ‘The Runaway’ didn’t see the same chart-success, at #46. September 2014 saw the band hit the road again, where they previewed music from 'Alias'. Returning after a hiatus, the band will release 'Outsiders' through Role Play Records in 2018.
The Magic Numbers have announced a 25 date tour of the UK and Ireland for later this year.

Isn’t it great when a band returns sounding better than ever? After four years away, ‘Outsiders’ isn’t just a wonderful comeback from the Magic Numbers, it’s their best effort since 2005’s Mercury nominated debut and the most fun-filled, enjoyable and consistent record to play host to their trademark harmonies.

If you abandoned the Magic Numbers once the afterglow of their early success faded, you’d be well advised to return to the fold and renew your allegiance. With their radiant harmonies once again set to stun, ‘Outsiders’ is a superbly crafted comeback that mixes together guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll, swinging ‘70s glam and heartfelt Americana to produce a sound that, if we all play it loudly enough, will bring forth some glorious summer sunshine.
