The Mighty Diamonds are a Jamaican roots/reggae group hailing from Kingston. A harmony trio consisting of Donald 'Tabby' Shaw, Fitzroy 'Bunny' Simpson, and Lloyd 'Judge' Ferguson, The Mighty Diamonds formed in 1969 after first meeting at high school.
Working with big names early on in their career, they released a collection of singles throughout their early years, before putting out debut album 'Right Time' in 1976. They were prolific in the studio and put out records year after year, and are one of the most consistent and long-running vocal trios in Jamaican musical history.
