The Notwist are a German indie-rock band hailing from Weilheim in Oberbayern. Formed in 1989 and consisting of frontman Markus Acher, bassist Michael Acher, programmer, and new drummer Andi Haberl, the band have - despite keeping a consistent line-up for almost 25 years - developed a sound that has changed countless times over their lengthy career.
Varying from dark indie, electrojazz, and pop, the band are a formiddable live band too, performing many a show across Europe and America as well as their homecountry.
