The Presets are an Australian electronic music duo based in Sydney. Formed in 2003, it consists of vocalist Julian Hamilton and drummer Kim Moyes, who both share keyboard/synth/production duties.
Signed to Modular Records, The Presets quickly enjoyed success from their debut 'Beams', including supporting Daft Punk on their Australian tour. Eventually returning in 2008 with their next LP, 'Apocalypso', The Presets would earn a 3x platinum-certification and an Australian #1. They once again reached Top 3 with their third effort, 'Pacifica', too.
