The Rasmus a Finnish alternative rock band from Helsinki, featuring Lauri Ylönen, Eero Heinonen, Pauli Rantasalmi and Aki Hakala.

Formed in 1994, the band released their debut album, ‘Peep’, in 1996, and had success in their home country. It wasn’t until their fifth album, 2003's ‘Dead Letters’, that the band gained international success, with their single In the Shadows hitting #3 in the UK Singles Chart. They've released a total of nine studio albums to date, the latest being 2017's 'Dark Matters'.
