The Toy Dolls are an English punk rock outfit hailing from Sunderland. Together since 1979, the band have always been about being a punk band with a twist - there tracks are hilarious and comedic rather than political and controversial, and they even manage to fit a kazoo into their music.
Frontman Michael ‘Olga’ Algar is the only remaining original and constant member of the band today, and the list of former Toy Dolls members is a long one. But, despite this, the band still release music today - their 12th record ‘The Album After the Last One’ came out in March 2012. You can catch them touring the UK in November 2013.
