The Unthanks are a folk band from Northumbria.
Formed in 2004—originally as Rachel Unthank And The Winterset—the band released two albums before changing their line-up and name. They released ‘Here's the Tender Coming’ in 2009, and have since gone on to put out a further 10 records including, most recently, 'Sorrows Away' in 2022. The Unthanks will support their new album with an Irish tour in October 2023, before embarking on a run of UK shows in December.
