Tiny Ruins is a New Zealand based folk band from Auckland, consisting of singer-songwriter Hollie Fullbrook, bassist Cass Basil, drummer Alexander Freer and Tom Healy on electric guitar.
Formed in 2009, as the solo project of Fullbrook, who released a debut album, ‘Some Were Meant for Sea’ in 2011. The band released the second LP ‘Brightly Painted One’ in May 2014, which won the Best Alternative Album at the New Zealand Music Awards. Their latest, 'Hurtling Through', was released in 2015.
The band have supported Fleet Foxes, as well as toured with Calexico, Sharon Van Etten and Beach House, as well as headlining their own tours around New Zealand, Europe and North America.
