Tokyo Police Club is a Canadian indie-rock band hailing from Newmarket, Ontario. The outfit came together in 2005, after singer/bassist David Monks guitarist Josh Hook, keyboardist Graham Wright, and drummer Greg Alsop left previous band Suburbia and started jamming in one of their basements.
In their early years, they quickly made a name for themselves thanks to their energetic and roof-raising live gigs, earning them slots at festivals and supporting bigger bands across North America. Their debut album ‘Elephant Shell’ dropped in 2008, and cemented their path to a longtime career in music. 2014 saw album #4, ‘Forcefield’, dropping alongside a UK tour in the spring.
In October 2018, Tokyo Police Club return with their brand new record, 'TPC'. Catch them supporting it with a North American tour this fall - get your tickets below!
